More than anything, I'm amazed how fast time goes. My dad told me once that the older you get, the faster it goes. --Guess he was right.

Anyhooooo, just blogging on Wednesday night, mid week after having gone camping (Big Sur). I realized what I love about camping.

It is a community.

All these strangers come together in a decidedly beautiful place, and coexist. Sleeping on the ground, staying warm by a fire, and being dirty help one just let go. It is a different place, with different people. I also realized how much better it is to camp with friends. The sharing, the fun, it all works well together.
